Itinerary - 6 Countries Balkan Tour from Romania

Day 1: Start in Ohrid 
Breakfast. Half-day city tour: visit Hadzi Turgut Mosque, Old Bazaar, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke, Krst Dazmija. Check-in hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

 
Day 2: Ohrid - Tirana - Budva 
Breakfast. Proceed to Tirana (138 km). Half-day city tour: Mosque of Ethem Bay, Clock Tower, National Museum. Lunch. Proceed to Budva (175km). Arrival, check-in hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Budva.

 
Day 3: Budva - Dubrovnik 
Breakfast. Half-day city tour: Old town Budva. Lunch. Proceed to Dubrovnik (115 km). Arrival, check-in hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 4: Dubrovnik 
Breakfast at hotel, city tour of this UNESCO protected pearl of the Adriatic and its Cathedral, Rector’s Palace, Fransican Monastery (included Old Pharmacy), Clock Tower, Orlando’s Columns, Sponze Plaza, Dubrovnik City. Lunch in the old city, free time, Dinner, and Overnight at hotel in Dubrovnik.
 
Day 5: Dubrovnik - Mostar - Sarajevo 
Breakfast. Check out the hotel. Transfer to Mostar (+/- 140km : +/- 2 ½Hours). Proceed for the city tour – visit Karadjoz bey mosque, Muslibegovic house – walk through the old town and old bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site. Continue drive to Sarajevo. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way at Jablanica – lamb BBQ, arrive in Sarajevo and free time at Old City. Check-in, dinner, and overnight in Sarajevo.

 
Day 6: Sarajevo 
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for tour to visit Vrelo Bosne – spring of river Bosnia, Tunnel museum – the only means of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo in the last war. Walking tour of old town Bascarsija, Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the 1st World War; Brusa bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husref Bey Mosque- built-in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husref Bey Madrass; Morica han built-in 1551; Vijecnica – town hall for the Austro-Hungarian era. Lunch at the local restaurant. Afternoon, free for shopping. Back to hotel, dinner, and overnight in Sarajevo.

 
Day 7: Sarajevo - Travnik - Bihac 
Breakfast. Proceed to Travnik (90 km). Travnik with its mosque's and fortress that dot the skyline shows the original style Bosnian architecture that gives this town its charm. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to drive to Bihac (180 km). Check-in the hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel in Bihac.

Day 8: Bihac - Plitvice lakes - Zagreb 
Breakfast. A guided city tour of Bihać will uncover the secrets of untouched natural landscapes that are classified in the most preserved natural division of Europe. (Strback’s and Martinbrod’s waterfall, River Una, National Park Una). Lunch in a local restaurant on the river bank. Proceed to Zagreb (155 km) via Plitvice lakes, stop for watching the lakes as well photos taking. Proceed to Zagreb, check-in the hotel, dinner, and overnight in Zagreb.

Day 9: Zagreb - departure 
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the highlights including the upper and lower town of Zagreb, the majestic Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, lunch at a local restaurant, free time exploring the winding streets of the old town, free at leisure. Transfer to the airport for final departure.
