Itinerary - Classic Montenegro Tour
Day 1: Arrival at Montenegro
Arrival at Tivat airport. Meet and greet by your guide. Transfer to hotel, accommodation and overnight.
Day 2: Boka Bay
After breakfast, we will have tour of Tivat. Proceed to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town with many churches and palaces. Following the panoramic ride of the Bay of Kotor, our next destination is Perast, where we will have city tour, including the 17th century church of St Nikola. After the walk in Perast, we will head back to Kotor for overnight.
Day 3: Kotor – Sv Stefan – Lake Skadar and Virpazar - Budva
After breakfast we will continue to Budva, but our first stop will be above the famous island Sveti Stefan. After a short drive we continue to our next stop Monastery Rezevici. We will take a walk through two churches and the monastery itself. Visit of the Lake Skadar and the old fisherman's village Virpazar. In the afternoon we will continue to Budva. Overnight in Budva.
Day 4: Budva
Breakfast. City tour of Budva including The Old town, Trg izmeÄ‘u crkava (square between the churches), the Citadel, St John the Baptist’s Church and the Town Walls. Later we can make a visit of Sv. Nikola Island. Overnight in Budva.
Day 5: Budva - Cetinje
Breakfast. Today we will visit the Old Royal capital Cetinje. Walking tour including the National museum, King Nikola’s Palace, several old embassies, the Monastery and few other important locations. From there we will continue to the next sight, located at the heart of Lovcen National Park. 461 steps will take you to the ever resting place of one of Montenegro’s most important ruler and poet, Petar II Petrovic Njegos. Overnight in Cetinje.
Day 5: Cetinje – Podgorica
After breakfast we will head to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro for city tour and a visit to Montenegrin Waterfall Niagara, located near Podgorica, on Cijevna river. City tour of Podgorica including the old town Stara Varoš, famous with its Clock Tower, Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection, Petrović Palace and Natural History Museum of Montenegro. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 6: Ostrog Monastery
After breakfast, we will visit one of the most important Orthodox sanctuaries of the spiritual life in Montenegro, the Ostrog Monastery. From there we will return in Podgorica for our last night in Montenegro.
Day 7: Podgorica departure
Departure after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
