Itinerary - Classic Romania Tour

Day 1: Bucharest
Arrival at the Bucharest Airport. Meet and greet by our guide. Private transfer to your hotel and accommodation. City tour of Bucharest. Overnight.

Day 2: Bucharest
Breakfast. City tour of Bucharest, including Free Press Square, Arch of Triumph, Victory Square and Avenue, Royal Palace, Revolution Square, a visit to the Village Museum, one of the most impressive open-air museums in Europe and the Palace of Parliament. Next, you will have free time in the Old Town. Overnight in Bucharest.

 
Day 3: Bucharest – Peles Palace – Bran Castle – Brasov
After breakfast, we will leave for a visit of Sinaia and Peles castle, which served as a residence for the Royal family. From Sinaia we will drive to Bran Castle, famous as Dracula’s castle. After all the sightseeing today we will continue to Brasov, one of the most important medieval handcraft center in Romania. Walking tour of the most important attractions of Brasov. Overnight.

Day 4: Brasov – Gura Humorului
After breakfast, we will proceed to Bucovina Region. Visits of the Piatra Neamt and one of the largest monasteries in Romania – Agapia Monastery. After that we will continue to Gura Humorului. Overnight in Gura Humorului.

Day 5: Gura Humorului – Voronet Monastery - Modovita Monastery - Sucevita Monastery - Gura Humorului
Breakfast. First visit for today is at the famous painted monastery of Voronet. Continue with the Moldovita Monastery, built in 1532. After lunch, we will visit Sucevita Monastery, where we will find out more about the “Virtue Staircase”. Overnight back in Gura Humorului.

Day 6: Gura Humorului – Praid – Sighisoara
After breakfast we will head to Transylvania Region. Our first stops will be the Red Lake and village of Praid, where we will visit the local salt mine. In the afternoon, we will continue to Sighisoara Medieval Town. Free time. Overnight in Sighisoara.
 
Day 7: Sighisoara – Sibiu

Breakfast. City tour of Old Town of Sighisoara, including the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill and Dracula`s house where Vlad Tepes was born. After lunch we will continue to Sibiu. Walking tour of Sibiu, visit the old surrounding defense walls, the remaining towers, the Brukenthal Museum and The Evangelical Cathedral. Overnight in Sibiu.

Day 8: Sibiu – Curtea de Arges – Bucharest
After breakfast, we will visit Curtea de Arges, the first capital of Wallachia with the old Princely Court and the monastery. After that we will head to Bucharest. Free evening. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 9: Bucharest departure
Free time after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
