Itinerary - North Croatia Tour

 
Day 1: Zagreb
Arrive in Zagreb. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Sightseeing city tour with local guide Zagreb, including the Lower Town (Donji Grad), the Mimara Art Museum in Roosevelt Square and continue to Ban Josip Jelacic Square en route to the cathedral. Board the city's funicular to the medieval Upper Town (Gornji Grad). It's a network of little streets, stretching between the Kaptol and Gradec hills. View the former Presidential Palace, Stone Gate, St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower. Overnight.
 
Day 2: Poreč
Breakfast. Free time in Zagreb till noon. Later depart to Porec, which is almost 2, 000 years old. There we will have city tour and is set around a harbour protected from the sea by the small island of Sveti Nikola. Overnight in Porec.
 
Day 3: Kanfanar
After breakfast, we will continue to Kafanar. We will visit the medieval town of Dvigrad, which is dominated by the remains of the Roman basilica but also the legend on the undiscovered treasure of the British pirate Captain Morgan. Time for explore and free evening. Overnight in Kanfanar.
 
Day 4: Pula
After breakfast, we will cross the heart-shaped peninsula to explore the Jewels of Istria. Visit the well-preserved first-century arena at Pula, scene of brutal gladiatorial battles in Roman times. Continue to the charming old town of Rovinj, rising directly from the sea. Tours of Pula, Opatija, Rovinj and Porec. Late in the afternoon back to Rijeka for overnight.
 
Day 5: Rijeka
Breakfats. Morning tour of Rijeka and depart to Plitvice and discover the stunning National Park of Plitvice lakes. Walk along the string of sixteen lakes connected with beautiful waterfalls + boat ride. Overnight in Plitvice.
 
Day 6: Plitvice lakes - Split
After breakfast you are free to explore the terraced lakes, waterfalls, and hiking trails of Plitvice Lakes National Park, by youeself then travel to Split for an orientation walk upon arrival.
 
Day 7: Split - Zagreb 
After breakfast, we will have  tour of the old town. It’s landscape is dominated by the extensive Diocletian's Palace, which was built 1,700 years ago by the Roman Emperor Diocletian and today it forms the nucleus of the Old Town. In the afternoon, we will head back to Zagreb for our last overnight. 
 
Day 8: Zagreb departure
Breakfast. Free time till transfer to Zagreb airport. End of our services.
