During the first day you will visit the Bachkovski monastery, the Marvelous bridges, the caves Yagodina and Devil’s Throat. The Bachkovski monastery is the second biggest monastery in Bulgaria. It is surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Rodopi mountain and it is attractive destination for tourists. Since its foundation in the 11th century this monastery continues surprising its visitors. The Marvelous bridges are rock formations, located in the West Rodopi mountain, called also the Rock bridges. They are object of interest for anyone, who loves nature. The Yagodina cave has length of 10 km and it is on three floors. The cave is unique with its stalactites, stalactones and stalagmites. Another interesting cave is the so-called Devils throat. The name comes from the form of the previous entrance (now exit) of the cave. The Devils throat was formed from the falling of the earth layers.
During the second day you will have the chance to visit one picturesque Bulgarian village. Shiroka Luka was stated for architectural and folklore reservation. The village is famous for its authentic houses. There is an ethnographic museum, available for tourists and also a church with beautiful architecture, dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. You can also visit the Rojen observatory.
