Itinerary - Western Balkans Adventure Tour
Day 1: Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica Airport. Meet and greet by your local guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and orientation walk. Free evening. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 2: Podgorica
After breakfast, we’ll have Podgorica city tour including the old town Stara Varoš, famous with its Clock Tower, Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection, Petrović Palace and Natural History Museum of Montenegro. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 3: Podgorica – Kotor – Perast – Budva
Breakfast. Today we will head to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town with many churches and palaces. After our tour, we take a short transfer to Perast. The panorama of Perast is dominated by the 17th Century church of St Nikola. In the evening we will visit Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Montenegrin coast. Overnight in Budva.
Day 4: Budva - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we will proceed to Dubrovnik. City tour in the ancient city, full of architectural and cultural masterpieces and surrounded by a magnificent wall and fortresses. We will visit the Cathedral, Rector’s Palace, Fransican Monastery (included Old Pharmacy), Clock Tower, Orlando’s Columns and Sponze Plaza. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
Day 5: Dubrovnik – Split
Breakfast. This morning, we will proceed to Split. Walking city tour with guide including The Old Town, the Cathedral, medieval fortifications, Gothic palaces and Diocletian's Palace. 1,700 years ago, the Roman Emperor Diocletian built his palace here and today it forms the nucleus of the Old Town. Overnight in Split.
Day 6: Split – Trogir – Sibenik – Zadar
Breakfast. Our first stop for today is the city of Trogir, where we’ll have a walk through the narrow streets and visit to the cathedral and renaissance ÄŒipiko Palace. Then we will proceed to Sibenik and have the possibility to explore the beauties and culture of Sibenik; the famous Cathedral of St. James, build in the 4th Century, St. Laurence’s garden, Town Hall and the port. Overnight in Zadar.
Day 7: Zadar – Plitvice
Breakfast. In the morning we will take a tour of the city that is rich in architecture and home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour includes visit of Church of St. Donatus, Zadar Cathedral, art Installations the Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun. After that proceed to Plitvice National Park, where we’ll have a walk along the string of sixteen lakes connected with beautiful waterfalls. The tour of the National Park will include a boat ride over the big lake. Overnight in Plitvice.
Day 8: Plitvice – Zagreb
Breakfast. Upon arrival at Zagreb, we’ll have a city tour including take a funicular, which connect the Gornji and Donji grad. At Upper Town (Gornji Grad), we’ll visit the St Mark’s Church with its striking roof and sculptures in the south portal. Drop in at the St. Étienne Cathedral, the stone gate and Kaptol Hill as well. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 9: Zagreb departure
Free time after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
