Six sightseeing routes lead young travelers to the Northeast
Nearly 60 historical, cultural and natural landmarks in the Northeast, determined by a student "vote", will attract young tourists from Europe, the Regional History Museum announced the six rounds already prepared with the support of the European Union's Erasmus + program. The new tourist map, which will promote sites in eastern Romania, southern Greece and southern Spain, has been drawn up by ten educational and other organizations in the partner countries, BTA reported.
The six routes lead in the footsteps of the Bulgarian Renaissance, the archeological discoveries, the literary heritage, resurrect the memory of the First World War, and reveal natural wonders. Young travelers will be able to visit the ethnographic complex "Old Dobrich", the Military Cemetery-Museum in Dobrudzha, the historic cape Kaliakra, the "Palace" in Balchik, the Naval Museum in Varna, the reserve "Srebarna", temples, monasteries, basilicas, fortresses, stone fountains in the region.
