The seventh edition of "Pamporovo Bike Fest" starts with great interest

The traditional "Pamporovo Bike Fest" will be held in our Rhodope resort from June 17 to 20 for the seventh consecutive year. The program of this year's event includes the first round of one of the most prestigious forums in Europe - iXS Downhill Cup, a class 1 race of the International Cycling Union, bringing points to the world rankings, a round of Vivacom Downhill Series for 2021 and a children's competition in descent.

This is the biggest mountain biking event in Bulgaria and the region for the season and is expected to arouse great interest and participation of elite riders from all over Europe. So far registered for competitors and teams from Italy, France, Switzerland, Scotland, Greece, Cyprus, Great Britain, Romania, Spain and Bulgaria, as the registration for participation is still open and it is possible for more participants to register on the spot.

On Saturday, June 19, there will be a competition for the youngest, a round of the Children's Downhill Series, and on Sunday, June 20, will be the main part and the finals of the iXS Cup, which will be broadcast live online by 12 cameras on the track. You will be able to watch the live broadcast from 14:30 on www.pamporovo.bike

Traditionally, in addition to the competition part, other accompanying entertainment events are held within the festival, such as a party for the opening of the season at Perelik Hotel on Friday from 21:00, a bowling evening on Saturday and an open "expo" area throughout Studenets Square.

The track for the competition is nearly 2 km long and is one of the most difficult and technical not only in Bulgaria but also in the region. It includes many steep and fast sections, roots, stones, big jumps and rock drops, which in combination with the expected rainfall will make the race very interesting and unpredictable.

Meanwhile, in Pamporovo the summer season has already started and lifts â„–1 from Tourist Center Pamporovo to Studenets and lift â„–2 from Studenets to Snezhanka peak work without a day off from 9:00 to 17:00.
