Itinerary - 7 Days - Hiking Tour: Rila and Pirin
Day 1: Sofia
Arrival at Sofia airport. Meet and greet by your personal guide. Hotel accommodation. After that we will have city tour, including Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Theatre, the Archaeological Museum, St.George Church, Boyana Church, Roman ruins and Medieval settlements. Rest of the day is free. Overnight in Sofia.
Day 2: Sofia – Govedartsi
After breakfast we will depart for the village of Govedartsi. Accommodation in a guest house. We will board the cabin lift to Borovets. The view from the peak to surrounding uplands and peaks is breath – taking. Overnight in Govedartsi.
Day 3: Seven Rila Lakes
After breakfast we will make a hike to Seven Rila Lakes. Overnight back in Govedartsi.
Day 4: Govedartsi - Rila Monastery – Bansko
Breakfast. Visit to the Rila monastery and after that we will continue to Bansko. In the afternoon we will explore the cobbled streets and the charming ancient houses in the old part of the town. Overnight.
Day 5: Bansko - Dobrinishte
After breakfast we will have transfer to Dobrinishte resort, at Gotse Delchev Hut. From there we will take cable car to the Bezbog Hut. This is the setting-off point for the hiking trek to the Polezhan Peak, which offers one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Pirin, over 17 stunning glacier lakes, including the largest Popovo Lake. Overnight in Gotse Delchel Hut.
Day 6: Banderishki Lakes – Todorini Ochi Lakes – Bansko
After breakfast we will have arranged transfer to the Vihren Hut where we will have a hiking trek through the Banderishki Lakes. From there, we go across into the neighbouring valley and the Todorini Ochi Lakes. Overnight in Bansko.
Day 7: Bansko - Sofia
Transfer from Bansko to Sofia Airport. End of our services.
