Itinerary - Northern Macedonia Tour
Day 1: Skopje
Arrival at Skopje airport. Meet and greet by your tour guide. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Overnight in Skopje.
Day 2: Skopje
Breakfast. Today we’ ll have Skopje city tour in which we’ll visit the most important sites of the capital - old railway station destroyed in the huge earthquake in 1963, monument of Mother Theresa who was born in Skopje, the old church Sv. Spas located in the old city center and the Stone Bridge, museum of Macedonia, Kale fortress and the Old Bazaar. In the afternoon we’ll have a guided tour of the Matka Canyon. Overnight in Skopje.
Day 3: Tetovo – Lake Ohrid
After the breakfast, we departure for Ohrid. En route we make a visit to the city of Tetovo, known for its Colorful Mosque. Then we make a visit to the woman monastery Sv. Georgija. Late afternoon arriving in Ohrid and overnight.
Day 4: Ohrid
Breakfast. Today we’ll visit the old town of Ohrid. The "Museum City" Ohrid is a cultural treasure and is often called "the Jerusalem of the Balkans", recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage. Overnight in Ohrid.
Day 5: St. Naum Monastery
After breakfast we will visit the monastery of St. Naum. The monastery is best known for the activities of St. Naum and St. Kliment. Overnight in area.
Day 6: Bitola – Popova Kula
Today we heading to Bitola. On the way we will visit nearby excavations of Heraclea Lyncestis. Visiting the old part of the town and city center. Afterwards we continue to Popova Kula where we’ll have a wine tasting. Overnight.
Day 7: Skopje
After breakfast we will head back to Skopje. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Skopje.
Day 8: Skopje departure
Breakfast, transfer to the airport and departure. End of our services.
