Itinerary - Southwestern Balkan Highlights Tour
Day 1: Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica Airport. Meet and greet by your local guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and orientation walk. Free evening. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 2: Podgorica
After breakfast, we’ll have Podgorica city tour including the old town Stara Varoš, famous with its Clock Tower, Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection, Petrović Palace and Natural History Museum of Montenegro. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 3: Podgorica – Kotor
Breakfast. Today we will head to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town, St Tryphon’s Cathedral and Clock Tower. If you are a cat lover, we can visit also The Cat Museum in Kotor, which is home to thousands of postcards, lithographs, prints, jewellery and beautiful antique advertisements with cats. Rest of the day is free. Overnight in Kotor.
Day 4: Kotor – Mostar
After breakfast, we will proceed to Mostar, famous with its Stari Most. Visit Karadjoz bey mosque, Muslibegovic house – walk through the old town and old bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site and Neretva river. After that we will visit Blagaj and see Ottoman house that once functioned as a Dervish monastery and Buna Spring, pouring out of a cliff wall. Return in Mostar for overnight.
Day 5: Mostar – Sarajevo
Breakfast. Today we will proceed to Sarajevo. Tour to the Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the 1st World War, Vrelo Bosne – spring of river Bosnia, Tunnel museum, the old town Bascarsija, Brusa bezistan – covered market place, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and Madrass. Overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 6: Sarajevo - Visegrad
Breakfast. After that we will proceed to Visegrad, famous with Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, a UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit former royal palace, where is situated now King Matthias Museum, The Citadel, built in 13th century and looms over Visegrád atop a 333m-high hill, and Nagy-Villám Lookout Tower. Free time. Overnight in Visegrad.
Day 7: Visegrad - Belgrade
Breakfast. Upon arrival we will have Belgrade guided city tour. The capital of Serbia is one of the oldest cities in Europe. We will visit The House of Flowers, The White palace, Karadjordje’s park and St. Sava’s Temple. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 8: Belgrade departure
Free time after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
