Itinerary - 7-Day Dionysus in Macedonia Tour
Day 1: Skopie
Arrival at Skopje airport. Meet and greet by your tour guide. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. We will start with a sightseeing of Skopje including the old part of the town, the house of Mother Teresa, The Stone Bridge, church St. Spas and Fortress Kale. Our first winery will be Skovin. Overnight in Skopje.
Day 3: Stobi - Popova Kula
In the morning we will visit an ancient Roman city of Stobi, where we will have a tour around its ruins with a local guide. Very close to these city is situated Stobi winery, which we will visit. Later we head to another winery - Popova Kula in the city Demir Kapija. Overnight in Popova kula.
Day 4: Tikves - Bovin
After our breakfast we will head to the Tikves Lake. Today we will visit two wineries. First is Tikves winery were we will have full wine tour. After that we will visit the Bovin winery. Overnight in Bovin area.
Day 5: Vevcani
Our next destination is the Vevcani. Here we can visit few old monasteries, natural spring, sheepfold. In Vevcani is situated another winery, the smallest in Macedonia. Overnight in Vevcani.
Day 6: Ohrid
After our departure we will visit Ohrid, where we’ll take a short tour in town and have a visit to some of its cultural heritages like monastery of st. Naum, church of st. John at Kaneo, Samuel’s Fortress. Late afternoon we will head to the village Janche for overnight.
Day 7: Mavrovi Anovi - Vrutok - Skopje
We will start this day with visiting of the tourist place Mavrovi Anovi right by the Mavrovo Lake. Afterwards we head back to Skopje. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
