Itinerary - Enchanting Balkan Tour

 
Day 1: Sofia
Arrival at Sofia Airport. Meet and greet by your local guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and orientation walk. Free evening. Overnight in Podgorica.
 
Day 2: Sofia

After breakfast, we will visit the historical centre: Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Theatre, the Archaeological Museum, St.George Church. Afternoon walking tour – Boyana Church, Roman ruins and Medieval settlements. Overnight in Sofia.
 
Day 3: Sofia – Skopje
After breakfast, we will have a city tour through the Old city, including the Old Bazaar, Daut Pasha hamam, Chifte haman, Bezisten covered market, Suli Han, Fortress Kale, Mustafa Pasha mosque, Church of St. Saviour. Afterwards, we will continue our tour with visits of the famous Stone bridge, the Central square, The Archeological Museum, the Old train station, the Museum and a Memorial House of Mother Theresa. Overnight in Skopje.
 
Day 4: Skopje – Ohrid
Breakfast. This morning we will proceed to Ohrid. Upon arrival we will visit Hadzi Turgut Mosque, Old Bazaar, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke, Krst Dazmija. the National Museum of Ohrid, the Church of St Sophia, the Roman amphitheatre, the Upper gate and Tsar Samoil’s fortress. Later visit of the Monastery of St. Naum. Overnight in Ohrid.
 
Day 5: Ohrid – Shkoder
Breakfast. Today we will proceed to Sarajevo. Tour to the Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the 1st World War, Vrelo Bosne – spring of river Bosnia, Tunnel museum, the old town Bascarsija, Brusa bezistan – covered market place, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and Madrass. Overnight in Sarajevo.
 
Day 6: Shkoder - Budva

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit Rozafa Fortress, the most impressive sight in Shkoder. Founded by the Illyrians in antiquity and rebuilt by the Venetians and then the Turks, the fortress takes its name from a woman who was allegedly walled into the ramparts as an offering to the gods. After that we will proceed to Budva, where we’ll have city tour including The Old town, Trg izmeÄ‘u crkava (square between the churches), the Citadel, St John the Baptist’s Church and the Town Walls. Overnight in Budva.
 
Day 7: Budva – Kotor
Breakfast. Today we will head to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town with many churches and palaces like St Tryphon’s Cathedral and Clock Tower. If you are a cat lover, we can visit also The Cat Museum in Kotor, which is home to thousands of postcards, lithographs, prints, jewelry and beautiful antique advertisements with cats.
 
Day 8: Kotor – Dubrovnik

After breakfast, we will proceed to Dubrovnik. City tour with local guide, visiting the Old Town, the Town Museum, the Bishop’s Palace with its treasury collection and the Town Hall. Free time. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
 
Day 9: Dubrovnik departure
Free time after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
