Itinerary -  Little Known Balkans - Montenegro, Albania & Macedonia Tour  


Day 1: Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica Airport. Meet and greet by your local guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and orientation walk. Free evening. Overnight in Podgorica.
 
Day 2: Podgorica
After breakfast, we’ll have Podgorica city tour including the old town Stara Varoš, famous with its Clock Tower, Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection, Petrović Palace and Natural History Museum of Montenegro. Free time for shopping. Overnight in Podgorica.
 
Day 3: Podgorica – Kotor – Perast – Budva
Breakfast. Today we will head to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town with many churches and palaces. After our tour, we take a short transfer to Perast. The panorama of Perast is dominated by the 17th Century church of St Nikola. In the evening we will visit Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Montenegrin coast. Overnight in Budva.
 
Day 4: Budva - Shkoder
After breakfast, we will have city tour of Budva Old town, including Trg izmeÄ‘u crkava (square between the churches), the Citadel, St John the Baptist’s Church and the Town Walls. If we have time, we can make a visit of Sv. Nikola Island. After lunch we will continue to Albania. Overnight in Shkoder.
 
Day 5: Shkoder - Tirana

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit Rozafa Fortress, the most impressive sight in Shkoder. Founded by the Illyrians in antiquity and rebuilt by the Venetians and then the Turks, the fortress takes its name from a woman who was allegedly walled into the ramparts as an offering to the gods. After that we will proceed to Tirana, where we will have city tour including visit of Petrela Fortress, the government buildings, Skanderbeg Square, the old bazaar and Et'Hem Bey Mosque. Overnight in Tirana.
 
Day 6: Tirana - Ohrid
Breakfast. This morning we will proceed to Ohrid. Upon arrival we will visit Hadzi Turgut Mosque, Old Bazaar, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke, Krst Dazmija. the National Museum of Ohrid, the Church of St Sophia, the Roman amphitheatre, the Upper gate and Tsar Samoil’s fortress. Later visit of the Monastery of St. Naum. Overnight in Ohrid.
 
Day 7: Ohrid - Skopje
After breakfast, we will have a city tour through the Old city, including the Old Bazaar, Daut Pasha hamam, Chifte haman, Bezisten covered market, Suli Han, Fortress Kale, Mustafa Pasha mosque, Church of St. Saviour. Afterwards, we will continue our tour with visits of the famous Stone bridge, the Central square, The Archeological Museum, the Old train station, the Museum and a Memorial House of Mother Theresa. Overnight in Skopje.
 
Day 8: Skopje departure

Free time after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
