Itinerary - Wine Tasting in Montenegro Tour
Day 1: Podgorica
Arrival at Podgorica airport. Meet and greet by your guide. Transfer to hotel, accommodation and overnight.
Day 2: Podgorica
Breakfast. Podgorica city tour including the old town Stara Varoš, famous with its Clock Tower, Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection, Petrović Palace and Natural History Museum of Montenegro. After that we will head to one of the most famous wineries in the region - 13 Jul-Plantaze Vineyard, situated in former hangar for military aircraft. Overnight in Podgorica.
Day 3: Podgorica - Virpazar - Stari Bar - Podgorica
Breakfast. After that we will go toward Skadar lake and the town of Virpazar. Visit the old market and lunch. Later wine tasting in the Winery Mašanović, which specializes in the traditional Montenegrin vranec wine, a dark red variety with flavors of dark chocolate, fruit and burnt oak. After that we will continue to an antique town of Stari Bar for sightseeing tour and overnight.
Day 4: Stari Bar – Ulcinj – Budva
After breakfast we will continue to Ulcinj. City tour and another wine tasting in the winery of Milović, famous with its traditional vranacs, which are rich and dark ruby colored, combining a mixture of forest fruit, cranberry and vanilla flavors. In the afternoon we will continue to Budva. City tour of Budva. Overnight.
Day 5: Budva – Citinje – Budva
After the breakfast we are going to visit the Old Royal capital Cetinje. There we will visit the National museum, King Nikola’s Palace, several old embassies, the Monastery and few other important locations. Overnight back in Budva.
Day 6: Budva – Kotor - Perast
Breakfast. Today we will head to Kotor. Visit of Kotor's fortification walls and its old town with many churches and palaces. Visit the Old winery Kotor. After our tour, we take a short transfer to Perast. Visit the Old town and the 17th century church of St Nikola. Free evening. Overnight in Perast.
Day 7: Perast – Herveg Novi - Podgorica
After breakfast, we will continue to Herceg Novi and the famous Savina Winery, where you will have the chance to try a merlot, a cabernet sauvignon, a rose-grenache and a chardonnay. Visit of the Savina monastery nearby. Continue to Podgorica for our last overnight.
Day 8: Podgorica departure.
Breakfast. Free time in the morning. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
