Itinerary - Highlights of Romania Tour

Day 1: Bucharest arrival
Arrival at Bucharest airport. Meet and greet by your guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and overnight.

Day 2: Bucharest - Sibiu
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of Bucharest: Free Press Square, Arch of Triumph, Victory Square and Avenue, Royal Palace, Revolution Square. Continue with a visit of the Village Museum, one of the most impressive open-air museums in Europe and the Palace of Parliament. Next, you will have free time in the Old Town. We will continue with Cozia Monastery and the medieval city of Sibiu. Overnight in Sibiu.

Day 3: Sibiu - Alba Iulia - Hunedoara - Sibiu
Breakfast. Today we will have a walking tour in the old city center, including old surrounding defense walls, the remaining towers, the Brukenthal Museum and The Evangelical Cathedral. Later, visit the unique Alba Carolina Fortress. After lunch, we will proceed to Hunedoara region for a visit to the Hunyad Castle. In the late afternoon, we will head back to Sibiu for overnight.

Day 4: Sibiu - Turda - Biertan - Sighisoara
After breakfast, we will continue to the town of Turda for a visit to the Salt Mine, an impressive underground complex. Our next stop for today is at the medieval village of Biertan, for a visit of Lutheran fortified church, part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After that we will continue with Sighisoara. Overnight in Sighisoara.

Day 5: Sighisoara - Brasov
Breakfast. City tour of Old Town of Sighisoara with cobbled streets, including the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill and Dracula`s house where Vlad Tepes was born in 1431. From Sighisoara, the tour continues with another medieval city that we will explore in a walking tour  - Brasov. Highlights of the city tour are the Black Church, the Council Square, the Hirsher House, the many old Saxon houses, and the White and Black Towers. Overnight in Brasov.

 
Day 6: Brasov - Zarnesti - Bran - Rasnov - Brasov
After breakfast, we will head to Zarnesti for a visit to Bears Libearty Sanctuary where rescued bears live in their natural environment. Proceed to Bran, where we will visit the Dracula Castle. Later we will visit the impressive hilltop Rasnov Fortress. Return to Brasov for overnight.

 
Day 7: Brasov - Prejmer - Sinaia - Bucharest
Breakfast.Today we will travel to Prejmer, the largest fortified church in southeastern Europe. After that visit to Sinaia, known as “The Pearl of the Carpathians” and Peles Castle. Continue to Bucharest. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight.

 
Day 8: Bucharest
Departure after breakfast. Free time. Transfer to the airport. End of our services.
